Accidents happen. Just ask Joe who, with one scratch of his eye, ruptured his cornea. While an ophthalmologist was able to stop the damage from progressing, they could not fix his cornea. Thankfully, someone said “yes” to organ, eye, and tissue donation and Sierra Donor Services had a cornea available. With his sight once again intact, Joe shows his gratitude for the gift that was given to him by giving back himself.
