Sierra Donor Services Celebrates Record-Breaking 5th Annual Donor Dash & Health Fair!
Sierra Donor Services raised nearly $64K and welcomed over 400 attendees at the 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk event!
Sierra Donor Services, proudly raised a record-breaking $64,000 and welcomed over 400 attendees at its 5th Annual Donor Dash 5K & Health Fair on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Crocker Park! This special event celebrated the impact of organ, eye and tissue donation, welcomed community members across the region honoring donor heroes, transplant recipients, healthcare professionals, and advocates who support lifesaving transplants, and offered free health screenings and information to attendees. The family and dog-friendly Donor Dash welcomed walkers and runners of all ages.

This year, more than 35 dedicated volunteers came together to ensure the Donor Dash and Health Fair ran seamlessly, from early morning setup to the final breakdown.
Our incredible volunteer team included Sierra Donor Services staff, nurses from the UC Davis Transplant Center, and members of professional nursing associations such as CCBNA, PNAC3, and NAHN. We were also grateful for the support of Sacramento Job Corps, including Business Engagement Manager May-Va Vang and her students, as well as our inspiring ambassadors, transplant recipients and donor family members who shared their stories and passion.
Their time, energy, and commitment made a meaningful impact and helped create a successful and memorable event for all.
