What is your favorite thing about working for SDSEB?
A couple things; passion because I have 2 family members with corneal transplant 1 being dad. Feel it brings her closer to her dad by talking about transplant. Feels like your helping people restore sight.
How long have you worked in donation?
20 years, I started in tissue recovery, then went to Bridge to Life call center. Other roles included tissue recovery; bridge to life call center; family care/hospital services role (in person conversation to consent); customer service is her passion and went to hospital services for 13 years; current position was available been in ocular 4 years.
What is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?
Fortunate enough to go to South Africa; kudo stew (antelope) and alligator butter, kangaroo lasagna
What is something you want to do in the next year that you have not done before?
Thrill seeker; if not for COVID would have went sky diving.
Whats the most useless talent you have?
Can pick things up with her toes.
